What is the Apprenticeship Program

The Apprenticeship Program is a free Virtual Assistant (VA) training designed to give you hands-on experience and real output that you can proudly add to your portfolio. It ends with a Certificate of Completion and a chance to be prioritized for vetting for clients intending to hire their VAs.

The training is modular—you can choose the topics that interest you. Each module takes around 2 weeks and includes:

• ✅ 25% self-paced learning (videos, readings)

• ✅ 25% Q&A and classroom-style support

• ✅ 50% actual work with feedback
  

To graduate, you must submit required outputs (like posts, blogs, or videos), which will be published by Pinay Digital Marketer (PDM) and our partner agency. You’ll retain full rights to showcase these in your portfolio.

What can I learn in the program?

We focus on high-demand VA skills where there’s a shortage of vetted talent:

• Social Media Management

• Sales Development and lead generation (inbound and outbound)

• Creative Design (image and video content)

• Copywriting

What does “vetting” mean?

In the VA industry, vetting means assessing a candidate's skills, reliability, and work ethic to match client expectations. Vetted candidates are 90% more likely to be hired vs non-vetted candidates.

Vetting usually includes tests, portfolios, and work history. For beginners, these are often missing. That’s where our Apprenticeship Program helps—by giving you experience and building your portfolio.

Why is it free?

It’s free of charge, but not free in effort. In return for the training, your outputs will help promote the team. Because we use your work, we’re invested in your growth—giving thorough training and feedback so you can grow fast. It’s a win-win!

What are the requirements?

Same as a VA applicant:

• A personal laptop or desktop

• Reliable postpaid internet (with good Speedtest results)

• A quiet, dedicated workspace

• Commitment of 2–3 hours daily for 10 days

• Signed consent to use your output

Is the certificate verifiable by future clients?

Will I get hired after completing the program?

There’s no guaranteed job offer, but graduates are prioritized when Orient Blue recommends VAs to clients. You can also use your portfolio and certificate to apply to other agencies or freelance.

Some graduates may be offered part-time or full-time roles directly with us.

What if I don’t finish the program?

You’re free to exit anytime, but to receive the Certificate of Completion, all required outputs must be submitted.

The program is designed to be flexible but also instills accountability and time management—skills important to VA work.

Can I join just to learn, not to become a VA??

he program is intended for aspiring VAs. If you're only looking to learn without the intention to work as a VA, we recommend waiting for the launch of our VA Academy, a paid training platform open to all learners..
